Solana Training Academy Empowering the future of South Africa

In response to the shift in the country’s focus towards having a cleaner and more sustainable energy mix, and the increasing demand for rooftop solar installations, in partnership with South32, Solana Energy established a Training Academy in Richards Bay.

The Academy aims to contribute to communities and the country, by providing a unique opportunity to train electricians, technicians and young unemployed people as solar PV installers.

Additionally, Solana offers Enterprise Development and Supplier Development solutions to corporates by connecting local solar businesses with solar installation projects. The aim is to empower businesses with the right accreditation to qualify for more work from corporate South Africa.
